1923

Ugo Nason, drawing on his experience as head of the Franchetti furnace, founded his own glassworks together with his four sons. Initially located on Fondamenta dei Vetrai, the company was soon joined by Francesco Moretti, marking the birth of “Cristalleria Nason & Moretti,” specialized in the “production of common glassware.”
Just a few years later, in 1927, a new headquarters was inaugurated in the Serenella area, which already required further expansion by 1928.

2024

On November 22, 2024, the exhibition “La Cristalleria Nason Moretti. Table Glassware from Déco to the Compasso d’Oro” was inaugurated. The project explored key years in the history of the Furnace, focusing on two recently rediscovered collections, now held in the permanent archive of the Wolfsoniana in Genoa Nervi, where the exhibition took place.
